STEELE-PERKINS is a specialist project management practice, owned and operated by Oliver Steele-Perkins BSc Hons ICIOB from 3000 Cathedral Hill in Guildford. We provide services across London, Surrey and Hampshire to homeowners, property investors and developers. Project Co-ordinators work from our office in Guildford preparing projects through the Pre-Construction stage and also importantly supporting the role of our Project Managers. Our PM’s are experienced, professional and personable and are the central point of Contact for our clients, contractors and suppliers.
BSc (Hons) HND, ICIOB
Oliver has over 10 year’s experience as a project manager is a speaker at property events, contributor to Home Building and Renovation Magazine and by invitation sits on the Ask an Expert panel at Grand Designs Live in both London and Birmingham. Educated in Construction Management at Degree level he has worked for a division of the Mowlem Group and a leading London residential property agency in lettings and management, he is also experienced in property investment strategy and is a Co-Founder of the Property Development Alliance where Steele-Perkins provide the Project Management expertise to new and seasoned property developers across the UK. At Steele-Perkins as our Projects Director he has overarching responsibility for the smooth running of projects through all three phases of Project Management.
At the weekend he can be found mostly outside, either walking with his wife Mrs SP, hiking or trail running with friends and occasionally taking part in adventure or trail running events, the most recent being Keswick Mountain Festival 25k trail run.
PRINCIPAL BUSINESS CONSULTANT
Patrick has held a number of senior executive and non-executive positions. He was the International Director of Risk, Insurance and Claims Management at Hertz Corporation, where he managed operations throughout 12 countries across EMEA and Asia-Pacific, and the Chief Risk Officer of a global insurance company. He was instrumental in developing global risk and governance frameworks, business transformation (through BPR, BPO and technology) and developing strategic plans.
Patrick runs his own Management Consultancy and is Managing Partner of an insurance business.
Patrick is an accredited Investors in People advisor, a Certified Risk Professional and a member of the Chartered Insurance Institutes's London Claims Committee. Patrick's expertise is reinforced by a significant network, particularly across the international financial services, risk and insurance communities. He was appointed Non-Executive Director of Airmic in 2009 and was elected Chairman in 2015.
Working with teams and individuals, Patrick offers focused strategic and organisational advice and his broad-based commercial experience and laser-sharp attention to detail shapes the quality and value of solutions delivered. At Steele-Perkins he is welcome and trusted advisor.
In his spare time, Patrick enjoys spending time with his family, watching rugby (following London Irish) and live music. With any luck, he gets to the gym once or twice a week.
MARKETING & CONTENT MANAGER
Cristina joined the team in June 17, she brings with her proven success in promotion, sales and training with companies such as Marks & Spencer and Selfridges. She has exceptional customer service skills, is creative, focussed and speaks English, Romanian and Spanish. Cristina also has a passion for film and photography, at Steele-Perkins she is using her skills to develop and lead the implementation of a marketing strategy, increased brand awareness, forming and maintaining strategic alliances and planning a product launch.
With an education in Media & Design, Master of Arts for film production in both London and Bucharest it is no surprise that at weekends Cristina can be found volunteering on film sets, and following her passion for photography. We are excited to have her join the team.
Jade has worked at Dröm, specialist bespoke designers and installers of luxury sauna, steam and spa rooms where she had responsibility for Assisting the Project Managers with preparing quotations for clients, attending design meetings, ordering and supplying of products to clients. At Steele-Perkins she co-ordinates various pre-construction tasks, supports the Project Managers through all three phases of project management and maintains the business admin duties. She is efficient and hard working.
At the weekends, she can be found mostly on long walks with her dog beau or spending time with family and friends, she also loves the theatre.
BSc (Hons) MRICS
Jonathan is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years experience across a wide spectrum of property and real estate disciplines, both in the UK and overseas, including as partner of Knight Frank in central London.
Jonathan spent a number of years working in pre-construction and tender procurement for both new build and refurbishment projects in London and the South East with a specialist tendering and estimating practice in Surrey.
Other property based roles have included valuation, property and asset management and disposal. At Steele-Perkins Jonathan is key to our Pre-Construction preparation.
CEng, MIMechE, MACostE
Ray is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and a Member of the Association of Cost Engineers. He has worked as a lead planning and cost control engineer in sectors including Industrial, Oil, Gas, Rail and Nuclear construction on projects in Singapore, Sweden and Italy including multiple telecoms sites for the Italian Aviation Authority. Ray has written and presented key notes at International conferences and lectures on Project Controls Management, he also shares his knowledge as a mentor.
At Steele-Perkins, Ray brings his wealth of experience to the team as a "build phase" project manager. At the weekend he enjoys the long walks particularly in the South Down, taking pictures, playing rugby, foreign travel and learning Tai Chi.
Civil Engineering Diploma BA in Management at Open University
Uri is based in London, he has a wealth of Commercial project management experience, including new build and refurbishment of factories, laboratories, warehouses and clean rooms across the UK, Middle East, Cyprus and Philippines. He has worked for multi-nationals such as Intel, HP and Nestle. With 20 year’s experience including having lectured on various building related topics at Technion in Israel we are delighted to have Uri working as a Project Manager across a range of Client projects from bespoke new builds through to multi-unit sites for developers.
In his spare time Uri enjoys keeping fit, cycling, travelling to sunnier climates than the UK. He has a keen interest in Art, specifically Middle Eastern history and the influence of the British on preserving the culture primarily from the Babylonian era. He enjoys gardening specially flowers.
